The ARTURO TOSCANINI FOUNDATION is a musical institution in the Emilia-Romagna region that operates with the support of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities. It was established in 1994 on the initiative of the Region, Municipality, and Province of Parma, and represents the natural evolution of the homonymous Association established in 1975 by the Municipalities and Provinces of Emilia-Romagna and recognized by the State in January 1977.
Today, it is one of the largest and most dynamic Italian musical institutions, active in the fields of symphonic and operatic production, as well as professional training of young people in the arts and crafts of the entertainment industry. The Foundation is named after Arturo Toscanini, honoring his artistic legacy and tradition of executive excellence, and is based in Parma, the birthplace of the great conductor.
After a period of constant artistic and productive growth, the Foundation now has an operational dimension and organizational structure that allows for the realization of an activity consisting of over 100 symphonic concerts and 40 operatic performances on average each year.
The Contatto system installed in the renowned Arturo Toscanini Foundation manages both the lighting of the entire structure, which has resulted in cost reduction due to energy savings ranging from 70% to 80%, and access control. Additionally, the system is equipped with a WEBCON supervision system for local and remote management of the entire installation.
